One of the best things about Eagle Rays (beyond the fact that it serves all CAYBREW products and a fabulous array of lion fish dishes amongst other menu items) is its location. It sits one floor up and looks out over the dock, dive boats and the stunning waters beyond. There are tables on the deck, or you can pull up a chair at the bar where no doubt the cheery Rahul Pereira will be serving you.
Rahul hails from Mumbai, India but has become very nicely acclimatised to the Caribbean thanks to his experience working at Tukka Restaurant, also in East End. He is very happy to be firmly ensconced at Eagle Rays, socialising with the friendly guests and residents he meets and loving the incredible view that greets him every day.
Eagle Rays is proud to offer Caybrew, CayLight, Ironshore Bock and White Tip Lager, with White Tip available on tap. Owner Ron Hargrave feels that it is a particularly relevant choice at a dive resort, as a percentage of White Tip sales goes to local marine conservation projects.
You don’t have to be staying at Compass Point to stop by, so when you’re in the area, feel free to pull in for pizza, lion fish and drinks. In fact, beer drinkers will be delighted with the bucket-o’-Caybrew-beer special of US$20 to be found at Eagle Rays. Now that’s something worth celebrating!
