Toasting Christmas cheer with Kahlúa

The weather outside isn’t exactly frightful in the Caribbean, but Kahlúa in your glass is sure delightful!

This classic coffee-flavored liqueur adds the perfect element to your Christmas beverages, whether they’re over ice or hot, hot, hot.

Reacquaint yourself with Kahlúa this festive season and always have some at hand to make “your days be merry and bright.”

The Espresso Martini

  • 1.5 parts Kahlúa
  • 1 part Absolut Vodka
  • 1 part espresso coffee

Shake all the ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker. Fine strain into a chilled, stemmed martini glass. Handle with care. Cheers!T


The White Russian

  • 1 part Kahlúa
  • 2 parts Absolut Vodka
  • 1 part cream

Fills a rocks glass with ice. Build the Absolut Vodka and the Kahlúa into the glass and let the thick cream float on top. Voila!
Tip: semi-skimmed milk or soy milk works just as well as cream.


The Black Russian

  • 1 part Kahlúa
  • 2 parts Absolut Vodka

Stir the ingredients with cubed ice in a mixing glass. Then strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh cubed ice. Enjoy.


The Mind Eraser

  • 1 part Kahlúa
  • 1 part Absolut Vodka
  • 1 part club soda

Important, fill the glass with ice to the brim. Add Kahlúa, then vodka and top off with club soda. This is a layered drink, don’t let the clear liquids fool you.
Tip: don’t stir it up, let the layers rest in peace.
