Day into Night

Daytime activities abound, and why? Because when you live somewhere with perpetually warm temperatures, you feel the need to get out there and drink in that Vitamin D.

We’ve come up with five different bucket list adventures designed to be enjoyed between sunup and sundown.

Have you yet visited the Crystal Caves? They are something to behold in the district of North Side – a hidden treasure now developed for all to see.

Another couple of great land activities are horseback riding down the beach or getting on your bike via the West Bay Loop, allowing your exploration of the paths less travelled to be up close and personal.

Of course, we couldn’t possibly look at Cayman by day without including a couple of water-based pursuits. Take to the skies either by kite or flyboard and see the sea from a whole new perspective.

When the sun goes down, social butterflies emerge from their cocoons and look for things to do in the cool of the evening. Anyone craving the air-conditioned comfort of indoors can sign up for one of the myriad pub quizzes held on a regular basis, or seek the sanctuary of a cinema seat to watch the latest offerings from Hollywood. Time to bring back the dinner-and-a-movie ritual!

Get on your dancing shoes on the last Friday of the month and work off those calories at The Wharf’s Boogie Nights spectacular or at the Calico Jack’s Full Moon Party.

Foodies should make a reservation at Cayman Cabana for fresh local fare at its weekly Farm-to-Table night, and star seekers need to try out the latest creation from Anchor & Den at the Grand Cayman Marriott. Intrigued? Then take a look inside this feature for more details.
