If you want to put some swing in your step, or just love the game of golf, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, has events scheduled for June that will bring your enthusiasm to the “fore.”
The Ritz-Carlton Two-Person Golf Scramble, being held on June 10 and 24, has a shotgun start at 3:30 p.m. on both days at only $80 per person per day.
Last year, the golf club held a number of different golfing events and the two-person scramble was considered one of the most popular, hence the decision to bring it back.
There are two divisions – Gross and Net – with the former aimed towards more experienced golfers with no handicap, and the latter aimed towards those of all abilities. There will be awards for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place on both days, along with additional awards for the “Longest Drive” and “Closest to the Pin” at #4.
Participants will not just have the chance to play in the great outdoors; their fee includes a chance to try their skills against the Pebble Beach course in The Bunker, the latest addition to the golf club.
It features the TrackMan Golf Simulator – an indoor, state-of-the-art setup that the experts use to improve their game. Play the holes of Pebble Beach without setting foot on a plane, enjoying the air-conditioned comfort of the club while you practice your swing.
Any players that arrive early on the event days can give the simulator a go, and there is an award for “Closest to the Pin” at #7.
Participants will be included into a raffle for a TaylorMade M2 Driver on both days.
