Cayman’s holiday calendar is always a whirlwind of festivities. From craft markets to dazzling lights displays and appearances by Father Christmas, there’s a wonderful array of holiday events for the entire family. 2. Festival at Grand Harbour
Shop for unique handmade Christmas gifts and holiday items by local artisans and crafters. The event will feature live music, a Christmas tree lighting, a visit from Santa, food and drink specials, and family fun throughout the day.

3. Jingle Bell Run
A long-standing favorite with the running crowd, the Jingle Bell Run raises funds for the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre. It starts and ends at the Holiday Inn. Festive apparel is encouraged. Register online at CaymanActive.com.

4. St. Ignatius Christmas Concert and Fundraiser
This annual concert features great seasonal music from the school bands and choirs, and a $25,000 gate prize drawing. There are 25 prizes in total, and ticket holders need not be present to win. Tickets are available from parents, staff and students, at the school/church offices and outside major supermarkets.

5. Christmas Artisans Fair
Shop local this holiday season and support your creative community. Artisans will be on site to discuss their handcrafted products. Free admission.

6. Santa Run
Join a parade of Santas for a jolly jog around Camana Bay. Register online at camanabay.com. Proceeds benefit the Camana Bay Christmas Give.

7. Moonlight and Movies: Christmas Series
Families can cuddle up in the festively lit courtyard to enjoy their favorite Christmas films on a giant outdoor screen.

8. Holiday Farmers and Artisan Market
Throughout the holiday season, Camana Bay’s popular weekly market is infused with Christmas cheer.

9. Gingerbread Man Tea
See what happens when the magic of Christmas meets a child’s tea party, where youngsters get to decorate their own gingerbread man. Indulge in tiny sandwiches and a tower of sweets before succumbing to the magic of Santa and his friends around the Christmas tree. Adults will enjoy a selection of classic and herbal teas, freshly baked scones, finger sandwiches and pastries accompanied by holiday melodies.

10. A Christmas Recital
Dancers from Centre Pointe Dance Studio twirl under the stars to holiday tunes for the ultimate merry and magical show.

11. Mistletoe: An All White Christmas Lounge Party
Don your best winter whites and dance the night away at the hottest party of the season. Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the event features celebrity DJs and a Cayman-style fish fry. Express entrance tickets are $25; at the door $30.

12. Dashing Thru the Sand
