A singer, pianist and actress, Alicia Keys has achieved many successes in her 28 years.
Beginning her career at the tender age of four, Alicia appeared on The Cosby Show, and then went on to attend the Professional Performing Arts School in New York, of Fame renown.
She has released four albums, including one live album, with her fourth studio album due to be released on 1 December, 2009. She has received 12 Grammy awards, with 24 nominations in total.
She is the co-founder and global ambassador of the philanthropic organisation Keep a Child Alive, which provides medicine to families and children with HIV and AIDS in Africa. She also has donated to Frum tha Ground Up, a non-profit that aids children and teenagers with scholarships.
