Jammin’ with The Wailers

Few bands in the history of the world has had as much of an impact as The Wailers, who with their iconic frontman Bob Marley took reggae to the world. Although Bob Marley may no longer be with us, his legacy lives on as The Wailers continue to make music and carry his message.

On Friday 6 May, the Cayman Islands will be jammin’ to their soulful reggae sound, as The Wailers perform at the Royal Watler Terminal as part of the annual Cayman Carnival Batabano celebration.

As the greatest living exponents of Jamaica’s reggae tradition, the Wailers have completed innumerable other tours, playing to an estimated 24 million people across the globe. They have also been the first reggae band to tour new territories on many occasions, including Africa and the Far East. The Wailers have performed with music icons such as Sting, Stevie Wonder, Carlos Santana and the Fugees.

The event will kick off at 6pm, with tickets starting at $30 and VIP tickets available for $80. Tickets for The Wailers performance at The Royal Watler Terminal can be purchased in advance at The Rock Shop at Hard Rock Cafe Cayman Islands.

The concert is presented by Island Restaurants in association with the Hard Rock Cafe and in conjunction with the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism, Cayman Carnival Batabano, ecayonline.com, Corona Extra, Bacardi and the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach
