Get off the rock! Cayman Airways can take you there

Wondering where to head off for vacation this spring? There’s a wealth of destinations to choose from. Here are some of the top picks from Cayman Airways’ summer schedule.

Dallas
Cayman Airways’ Dallas route starts again this spring, offering a fabulous getaway with sights and attractions to suit all. With flights running every Wednesday and Saturday, Dallas is renowned for offering southern hospitality in an ultra modern, sophisticated city.  The ninth largest city in the US, Dallas covers a staggering 343 square miles. Enjoy some of the best shopping the US has to offer, a great selection of luxurious five star hotels and restaurants, a bustling nightlife, and the largest urban arts district in the nation.

Washington, D.C.
As the capital city of the US, Washington, D.C. is awash with a ton of activities, sights and attractions. This spring is the best time to visit as the city gears up to celebrate National Cherry Blossom Festival from 20 March through 14 April. This three-week citywide festival celebrates the 1912 gift of 3,000 cherry trees to Washington, D.C., by the mayor of Tokyo. The festival features a range of spectacular events, from its eponymous kite extravaganza on the National Mall to informational lectures to workshops to design your very own silk scarf, and much, much more. Cayman Airways flies to Washington D.C. every Saturday through 6 April.

Miami
This spring, Cayman Airways is offering one day fares to Miami priced at $285 including taxes and fees – perfect if you wish to indulge in a day of shopping, or for those who need to visit for business or medical purposes.  Just minutes from the airport is the huge outlet mall Dolphin Mall, a great place to pick up some bargains. Alternatively, head to nearby Dadeland Mall where shoppers will find popular department stores Macy’s and Nordstrom. Miami Airport is just a short taxi ride away from the financial heart of the city, while world-class hospitals are all nearby.

New York
Cayman Airways flies four times a week to the Big Apple. A feast for the senses, New York truly is the city that never sleeps. Take in a Broadway show, visit the Empire State Building, take a tour of the Statue of Liberty, shop until you drop along Fifth Avenue, soak up at the arts at the Guggenheim or enjoy a stroll in Central Park. Whether you are visiting as a family, as a couple, or with friends, there’s activities galore.

Chicago
Fast paced from day to night, the windy city offers a great getaway with plenty of sights and attractions to suit all, from world-class dining, entertainment and hotels in the largest and most-visited city in the Midwest. Cayman Airways flies direct to Chicago every Wednesday and Sunday. Art lovers should head to the Art Institute of Chicago, which features one of the largest collections of French Impressionist art, alongside a stunning collection of modern and contemporary art.

Shoppers will find heaven along Miracle Mile, while those with a head for heights should visit the John Hancock Observatory – home to the world’s highest café at 1,000 feet. No trip to Chicago is complete without a visit to the iconic Navy Pier, with its soaring 150-foot Ferris wheel, as well as an abundance of restaurants, shops and sightseeing cruises.
