Hand-tied wedding bouquets, boutonnieres, floral crowns, vases for the table and other types of arrangements for that special day are now available at Kirk Market. A floral designer works with a team to create personalised pieces from Kirk’s flower selection. Florist hours are the same as the store hours: 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday to Thursday and 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday to Saturday.

Gin-ius Fridays

Anchor & Den restaurant at Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort has launched a weekly happy hour called Gin-ius Fridays. Taking place every Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., drinks will include $8 hand-craft gin and tonic as well as irresistible gin-based cocktails. There will also be food-boards to share and music from the hotel’s DJ.

Outdoor tables at Tillie’s RestaurantTillie’s Restaurant is now open at Grand Cayman Beach Suites on Seven Mile Beach. Billed as “a voyage through the Greater Antilles” the menu highlights Caribbean cuisine inspired by local produce, seafood and farms. The seaside restaurant offers small, medium and large plates. Among the menu items: Grilled Heritage Chicken, Snapper Ceviche, Whole Grilled Market Fish and Crispy Lechon.

The Yogi Wall will be officially launched April 5 to 7. “This is a weekend to overcome your fears, build trust and confidence through rock climbing, rappelling and yoga,” says David Verhoeven, company co-founder. “This event is for everyone of all experience levels.”

The new wave of fast-casual Italian has arrived in Grand Cayman. Bonfire Urban Italian Kitchen offers quick and authentic Italian cuisine at Locale Grand Cayman, a new boutique hotel on the Seven Mile strip. The menu features pizzas cooked in a traditional open-flame oven, fresh salads, risotto and homemade pastas and sauces. It’s open daily for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The 20-ounce bottle is BPA-free and made of double wall stainless steel.“Single use bottles not only cost money but are terrible for the environment,” says Zoe Wall, founder of Wall Creations. “We are trying to make it easier for people to use reusable items.”The bottles are available at Books & Books in Camana Bay.
