Rotaract Blue Cayman Islands is raising money to award new pairs of shoes to students in need within the local community. Wear orange on 9 Aug. and make a monetary donation based on your shoe size. Pretend to be a basketball player for extra credit!

POTTERY WHEEL WORKSHOP
Cue ‘Unchained Melody’, it’s time once again for Wheel & Wine at Art Nest Creative Studio. Have you always
wanted to try throwing clay on a pottery wheel? Do you have the film ‘Ghost’ running on repeat? Now is your
chance to see if you’ve got what it takes. $60 per person includes nibbles and soft drinks with wine and beer
available for purchase.

BAYWATCH BOAT CRUISE
The Rotaract Club of Grand Cayman wants to get you out on the water from 1-6pm (boarding from noon) leaving from the Camana Bay Dock. Tickets are $30 per person and the theme is ‘Baywatch’ so get that fake chest hair
and high-cut tangerine one-piece out of the attic. Space is limited; book early to avoid disappointment.

BETTING ON CRABS
Before iPads and Xbox, there was soldier crab racing to keep people entertained and occupied. The Royal Palms Beach Club has revived the tradition on Sundays from 3-6pm with the aim of raising money for the National
Council of Voluntary Organisations, better known as the NCVO.
